One of the fundamental lines of work proposed by LM Arte Colección is research into collecting and the dissemination of collections as indispensable tools for understanding artistic phenomena and cultural processes over time. Following this idea, Dialogue between collectionsprogramme is being developed, which is materialised through the coexistence of a selection of pieces, in this case belonging to the Vicente Saavedra / Mercedes Rodríguez del Palacio Collectionnow temporarily inserted in the Centre’s permanent exhibition, in an attempt to open suggestive encounters with other works and other authors that allow us to broaden and contextualise, in a more complete way, our view of the island’s artistic events, contributing new elements to the discourse previously proposed in this museum.
